At Sonitek, we strive to provide a seamless returns process while ensuring products are returned in accordance with our guidelines. This policy applies to all purchases, with specific instructions for eStore orders and custom or quoted orders.
General Returns Policy:

Authorization Required:
- All returns must have prior written authorization from Sonitek, including an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number.
- Do not send products back without authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or processed.

Timeframes:
- eStore Orders: Returns must be requested within 30 days of the original shipping date.
- Defective Used Equipment: Notification of defects must be made within 7 days of delivery to qualify for limited warranty coverage.

Return Shipping:
- Customers are responsible for prepaying return shipping unless Sonitek made an error.
- If Sonitek is at fault, we will refund shipping charges and provide our UPS account for return shipping.
- For all returns, the order number or RGA number must be clearly written on the package.

Condition of Returned Items:
- Items must be returned in unused, unopened, and undamaged condition to qualify for a full refund or exchange.
- Products that are opened, used, or damaged may incur a restocking fee of up to 25%, or may not be eligible for return.

Inspection Process:
- All returned products are inspected upon receipt. Any product found to be used, damaged, or not in its original condition may result in deductions from the refund or rejection of the return.

Submit a return request by:
- Logging into your customer account on the eStore.
- Finding the relevant order and clicking the Return Items link.

Once the return is received, we will conduct a thorough inspection before processing any refund.
Exchanges:
- If you wish to exchange an item:
- Return the original item following the steps above.
- Place a new order for the replacement product.
- Once the original item is received, inspected, and approved, a refund will be issued separately.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Custom-manufactured items or products with non-standard options and accessories.
- Used or refurbished items purchased “AS-IS” unless otherwise specified in a limited warranty.
- Items shipped outside the United States, Mexico, or Canada without prior written approval.
- Opened or used products may not be eligible for return or refund.
Returns for Defective Products:

Defective Used Equipment:
- Notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery.
- Return the item freight prepaid for inspection.
- If the defect is confirmed, Sonitek will issue a full refund or exchange and cover shipping costs for the replacement.
- If the item is found not defective, restocking fees may apply, and return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

Warranty Repairs:
- Warranty repairs are F.O.B. (Freight on Board) Milford, CT, and cover parts and labor only.
- Customers are responsible for all freight and crating charges during warranty repairs.
Important Notes:
- Shipping charges are not refundable, except in cases of Sonitek error.
- Proper packaging is essential to avoid shipping damage. Contact us if you are unsure how to package.
- Sonitek uses UPS for all shipping. Special delivery requests (e.g., overnight) are the customer’s responsibility, minus standard shipping charges.
